Event Description
We're coming up on the birthday of the U.S.A., and we're going to
celebrate by saying thanks to all the people that work hard every day to
keep this the land of the free and the home of the brave.
You don't have to be, but if you are...All active duty military and first responders are welcome to join us for the 5K or the 10K at no charge (photo ID Required).
We start right in front of Sugar Hill City Hall at 7:30 am for both the 5K & 10K.
We're getting some great technical shirts and we'll have some amazing Finisher Medals as well as awards to the Top 3 M/F, Top 3 Masters M/F, Top 3 Grand Masters M/F, Top 3 Senior Masters M/F and the Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups.

Virtual Race Option
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate and have a shot at an award?
or maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!"
Then the virtual race is for you.
Here's how it works:
1. Register for the Virtual division & Start Training
2. You'll receive emails with event information & a link to submit your race time
3. Submit your time any time from now until the end of race day
4. The day after the race, results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
5. Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
6. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail.

Awards in both races as follows: Top 3 Overall Male & Female (based on gun time), Top 3 Overall Masters (40+) (based on gun time), Top 3 Overall Grand Master (50+) (based on gun time), Top 3 Overall Senior Master (60+) (based on gun time), Top 3 in each age group (10 & under - 75+) (based on chip time).
All regular participants registered by 6/21 are guaranteed a great race shirt! We've got a number of awesome options to choose from (child sizes may be cotton).
Tri-Blend, Technical- Moisture Wicking, Racer Back Tanks, Women's cuts available!
All aid stations will have water & energy drink. the 5K will have 2 stops, and the 10K will have 5 stops
Course & Timing
Both the 10K & 5K will Start and Finish next to Sugar Hill City Hall. The course will be an out & back from City Hall to PIB and then head South; 10K is a double loop.
Both the 5K & 10K will have a chip timed start & finish.
*Only the 5K Course is a Certified Peachtree Qualifier.

Save time or just sleep in a few extra minutes on race morning!
Bib Mail Out... $3.00 you can have your bib mailed straight to your front door. Note, bibs will be sent out via USPS. We'll be sending them out periodically, last mailing Monday before Race Week. Please ensure you put in your complete mailing address. We are not be responsible for any returned, lost or misplaced mail-out bibs. Bib Mail-outs are non-refundable.
*Not responsible for lost mail & bibs left at home. **Replacement bibs will be charged on-site for $2.00.
Early Packet Pickup...TBD Get some extra sleep race morning and come see us for early packet pickup!
Race Day Pickup...Check in opens at 6:30 am on race morning. Be sure to arrive closer to 6:30 am than 7:30 am. If participants arrive late and check-in gets delayed, shirts will be given out after you cross the finish.
Championship & Turkey Trot
- All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into ONE of the 2020 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots.
- Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the championships to be held on Jan, 2021. The number of spots available is based on the total registration...see event website for details.
Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final...we're sorry, but there are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
