Event Description

From the heart of Ballard to Shilshole Bay, the Sons of Norway Leif Erikson Lodge is proud to announce our annual 5k! The course runs from the Leif Erikson Lodge to the Leif Erikson statue at Shilshole Marina and back. 

5k Fun Run / Walk:

• Adult (21yr+) - $20 
• 13-20 yr - $10
• Child 10 and under - FREE

Check in begins at 8:00am. Race starts at 9am.  All runners get a flag at the finish line and a free heart waffle with jam. Top three runners in each category will be awarded ribbons and top finishers in each category will receive prizes from our sponsor, Skål Beer Hall. Our annual Heritage Day will also be going on after the race at the lodge with plenty of Nordic food, vendors, and fun activities!

Proceeds benefit the Leif Erikson Lodge and the Ballard Senior Center. More info on the Leif Erikson Lodge. 

Registration will also be available the day of the event for any last minute stragglers! :-)
