Event Description

The Lehigh Valley is home to a growing population of budding scientists receiving graduate training at Lehigh University. Within the labs and offices at Lehigh, our graduate students are working hard to produce impactful research that will influence new solutions to today’s problems. However, the time to the next discovery is lengthened by a widespread lack of funding for research. As such, please come and race at the Lehigh University Graduate Student 5K on April 19, 2020. Proceeds from the race go entirely to generating new academic research grants at Lehigh University. After the race, stick around for an awards ceremony and a poster display featuring graduate student research projects at Lehigh.

Event details and schedule

We have ample free parking for all participanats/spectators conveniently located next to the race staging area!

Registration/check-in is from 8:30 - 9:45 am

The race starts at 10 am and the finish line closes at 11 am

Stick around after the race for live music, a scientific poster display, refreshments, and an awards ceremony!
