Come out and kick off your summer by enjoying a super flat & fast course at Etowah River Park in Canton.
We'll be Walking (or running) on Sunshine for The Sunshine Kids Foundation. The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are meant to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!
We'll be kicking off race start at 8:00 AM. There will be award medals for the Top 3 Overall M/F Winners, Top 3 in our Masters M/F, Grand Masters M/F, Senior Grand Masters M/F and all the 4 year Age Groups 10 & Under. - 75+. Everyone will go home with an awesome race tee!

OUR MISSION AND GOAL
The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are meant to do . . . have fun and celebrate life!
We look forward to the day when The Sunshine Kids Foundation will no longer need to exist. Until that time, the entire Sunshine Kids family is dedicated to providing the most exciting activities, trips and events for as many young cancer patients as possible.

Then the virtual race is for you.
Here's how it works:
- Register for the Virtual division & Start Training
- You will be receiving emails as the race approaches, all of which will contain a link to the virtual entry form.
- Submit your race time by end of race day
- Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
- Monday after the race we'll package up all the medals, and put them in the mail.
We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. So…yes, there are some "hills", but it's nothing crazy, and you'll be so busy having fun, that you won't even notice.
The 5K course is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. USATF certified. Course number: GA18039WC

Top finishers to earn a spot in the Championships to be held January 2021. The number of spots available is based on the total registration.
All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into one of the Five Star 2020 Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots. See event website for details.
EVENT COURTESY POLICY & REFUND POLICY
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final, with no transfers, deferments, and refunds.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants....there are no refunds in this case.
