Event Description

Kennesaw Mountain High School’s own head custodian, Ms. Tedra Emerson, and her family have been faced with a series of medical hurdles this school year, which include her daughter's battle with lupus and the need for a kidney transplant. To help this family with their astronomical medical expenses, the Kennesaw Mountain High School Advanced Sports & Entertainment Marketing class will be hosting a 5k event at Kennesaw Mountain High School on April 18th. We need support from everyone in the community so we can ensure that Ms. T and her family receive the help they deserve. Ms. T gives so much to Kennesaw, and we would love to give something back to her!

Event details and schedule

The race will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 18th at Kennesaw Mountain High School. The race will be held on campus, as will the food trucks, vendors, carnival games, and silent auction. Parking will be designated at Kennesaw Mountain High School in the student lots. Race packets can be picked up any time between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on Friday the 17th, or between 6:00 am and 8:30 am on Saturday morning. Please plan to arrive at the event 30 minutes before the race begins. THIS RACE WILL BE FULLY AUTOMATED RFID TIMED! IF REGISTERED BY 4/3 YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO RECIEVE A T-SHIRT! Don't forget to bring your families for fun games and activities after the race! We can't wait to see you there!
