Event Description

This YMCA virtual 5K is for everyone! YMCA members, participants of our races and sports programs, and all of our community members. Whether you have been training for a race or run that was canceled or postponed or you just want a fun activity to participate in, the Y is here to help you stay active and healthy during this difficult time.

Here is how it works. You chose a day between Thursday, April 9 and Sunday, April 12, pick a location that will allow you to respect social distancing guidelines, and time that works for your schedule to do the work! After you complete your 3.1 miles, head over to our Facebook group, Treasure Valley Family YMCA Outdoor Active Community, and share your 5k pictures or workout screenshot with everyone. You can also share on Facebook, Instagram, of Twitter using the hashtag #TVFYMCAFlattenTheCurve5k. Be sure to tag @TVFamilyYMCA if your post is private! Let's celebrate what we can do and the health we have. #togetherapart
