RUN. WALK. DONATE... THE COMMUNITY ALWAYS WINS!

NEW THIS YEAR - TEAM SPONSOR DONATIONS WILL BE PAID OUT EVERY MONTH!

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Tucker Community Foundation is changing up the rules on Run For It. We will pay out the team sponsorship monies monthly to each organization who registers a team for the event. We encourage nonprofit organizations to click on the "Become a Fundraising Team" link above and set up their fundraising page. You can input information about your organization's programs and needs during this crisis and beyond.

The Tucker Community Foundation will share each organization's information monthly via a newsletter and on Facebook and Instagram. We also encourage each organization to share and use this page for their own fundraising efforts during this challenging period. If your group needs help setting up your profile page, we are happy to assist in setting it up. Please call, 304-478-2930, or send us an email, runforit@tuckerfoundation.net.

RUN FOR IT is a 2k (1.2M) walk and USATF- certified 5k (3.1M) race around the scenic mountain town of Davis, W.Va. during Leaf Peepers Festival. This year's event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Speed is not required to win. The event helps nonprofit and community causes raise funds and awareness for projects, educational activities and charities located within the Foundation’s service area (Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph and Tucker counties, W.Va. and Garrett County, Md.).

RACERS - Racers are encouraged to ENTER ONLINE through RunSignUp. Pre-registration opens Wednesday, April 8 and closes on Sunday, Sept. 20. After Sept. 20 racers may enter the race onsite from 3 - 7 p.m Friday, Sept. 25 or from 8 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 (Race Day). Racers unable to enter online should download an ENTRY FORM and mail it to: TCF-Run For It, P.O. Box 491, Parsons, WV 26287 or email it to: runforit@tuckerfoundation.net

TEAMS - Team Captains can register teams online here or by printing and completing a Team Registration Form in the EVENT PACKET. Registrations can be sent by mail, in person, email or by fax. Teams must be registered by August 31. Each team represents a charitable nonprofit cause. Anyone can sign up for any team. Team members do not have to walk or run together.

TEAM SPONSORS - To see more information on team causes or to make a donation and sponsor a team, click the donation tap on the top of the page and select a team.

RACE SPONSORS - Race sponsor donations fuel the race and support charitable causes. Race sponsors receive maximum exposure throughout the campaign. Help build the purse!

MERCHANDISE SALES - Click Sign Up on the T-Shirt purchase merchandise without registering for the race. Merchandise can also be purchased along with race registration. Merchandise pre-orders will not be available after Saturday, Sept. 7, there will be a limited amount of T-shirts available for sale on race day. T-Shirts must be picked up at the Tucker Community Foundation office or on race day at the Davis Fire Department - Saturday Sept. 26. T-Shirts will not be shipped.
