Event Description

Get outside and get moving to show your support for our healthcare heroes.  Join us the weekend of June 6 and 7 to run a virtual 5k.  The purpose of this virtual 5K is to support Healthcare Heroes who are working to keep us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Every gift helps aid team members who are fighting on the front lines against the coronavirus pandemic. By giving to Novant Health Foundation, you will make a difference for our COVID-19 efforts, including emergency childcare, hotels for front line nurses and doctors, and meals for staff at the hospitals and screening centers. Your help is needed more than ever. Thank you!
 

Here's how it works:

1. Register here for free and consider making a donation to the Novant Health Foundation using the "donate" button at the top of this page.

2. Lace up those sneakers and start training.  Bring a friend or go it alone, just remember to keep your distance! We are proud to partner with Go FAR (Go Out For a Run) who has provided a training plan including weekly exercises and workouts! Click here to access the training plan.

3. Anytime over race weekend head out in your neighborhood, hop on the track or treadmill to complete the 5k.  Ready, set, go!
