Event Description

As a health and human services organization, RunningWorks’ mission is to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty with their needs for physical, emotional and social well-being.

On Wednesday, June 3, RunningWorks is hosting our 5th annual 12-Hour Run to End Homelessness. Each year, we host this event on Global Running Day, which is a day when people around the world celebrate the sport of running and raise awareness of important causes impacting their communities.

RunningWorks has been dedicated to eradicating homelessness in our community since 2012, so on Wednesday, June 3, from 6am – 6pm, RunningWorks staff, volunteers, community members and clients, will be running, jogging, walking, skipping (or whatever keeps us moving) as many miles as they can to raise awareness and financial support to combat homelessness and poverty. Last year we had 225 participants and totaled 1,400 miles.....help us to surpass those numbers this year. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event has gone virtual!

Please consider joining us in our efforts to make a difference in the community by participating in our 12-Hour Run to End Homelessness!
