Help support IPR! IPR is hosting the first-ever IPR Virtual Run for Research 5K/10K to help encourage physical activity and well-being during COVID-19. It’s very easy to do—pledge to walk or run at least 3.1 miles individually or with a team and then complete the challenge from August 1 to September 30. Participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal.
100% of the proceeds will fund research projects at IPR. IPR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Cost (includes shirt, finisher medal, and shipping costs):
Early-Bird Rate through July 31: $45
July 31 – September 30: $50 (t-shirt size not guaranteed)
How Does It Work?
Anyone from anywhere around the world can join. Here is what you will need to do:
- Sign-up to run or walk individually or as a team (see team guidelines) for a 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles). Follow event updates on Facebook at www.facebook.com/instituteforpr.
- Choose a place, date and time to do a run or walk (while practicing physical distancing) - can be over more than one day
- Run or walk any time between August 1 to September 15, 2020, while recording your time and distance.
- Upload your time or send us verification of your participation! We will send you detailed instructions on how to do that. To qualify for an award, you must submit a verifiable time.
- Show us your run on social using the hashtag #Run4IPR. The best social picture will receive a prize!
