Event Description

Victory Sports Management is proud to present the Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge.   The Tour de Florida Virtual Challenge provides a platform for all level of runners/walkers and cyclist to compete versus fellow athletes and their goals.  We truly miss seeing all of your smiling faces at the in-person live events but we know this will provide a great platform to stay connected.  The Tour de Florida provides four race options.  The event will take place over 47 days (June 15 through July 31).  Each event has a total distance you will be required to complete over 47 days.  The amount you complete each day is up to you and completely flexible.  There are no mandates other than completing the total distance in 47 days.  This is a great platform to form a team and challenge each other, to keep each other motivated while having the ability to enjoy a common bond during the 47 days.

Each event will provide the feel of competing on roads in the great state of Florida.  Each event has a total distance to complete, ranging from South Florida Challenge at 28 miles (average 0.595 miles per day) to the A1A Tour de Florida Ultimate Challenge at 362 miles (average 7.70 miles per day).  All participants will receive a custom race bib, event dri-fit shirt, custom finisher medal and personalized race certificate.  You will log each day you log miles on the event results page, which will be available June 10, 2020.

Each event has a theme based off Florida, being a virtual event you are not required to actually compete at the exact location of the event you registered.  We will provide scenic pictures based off the themed race you choose to provide the feel of Florida.  It will be as if you were truly running down Alligator Alley or along I-4.
*Disclaimer:  Please do not compete on unsafe roads, or areas that are closed to the public.  Practice social distancing and any other requirements set forth by local, state and federal guidelines.  Alligator Alley and I-4 are not open for pedestrian traffic, this is a virtual run only, please do not gather as a crown in any one location at the same time.

We will work to keep everyone active on social media and help push each other to achieving and exceed their goals.  You will see friends and family on our social media pages during the event and will have the motivation to beat them all.  We will have social media contest for best posts, best pictures and best celebration (hint: be very creative).
