Event Description

This is the DOUBLE DOWN Virtual Event to challenge yourself! Ride 24.8 miles and Run 6.2 miles with us to complete your own 31.0! June 6 - 7, 2020. 

If you completed our 31.0 Virtual Race several weeks ago - double down and do it again just better! Please sign up for the DOUBLE DOWN event to receive the correct bumper sticker. This is a challenge to push yourself and DO BETER than several weeks ago - ARE YOU IN?

If you are new to multisport and 19.1 was your first event - go big and go for 31.0! Please sign up for the 31.0 event to receive the correct bumper sticker. 

There will be swag, there will be bumper stickers, there will be finisher certificates and social badges. And bragging rights, tons of bragging rights for either beating your old time from a few weeks ago or going that far for the first time!

Starts 7:00 AM EST on Saturday, June 6th.  Join us on the Playtri Virtual Racing Facebook page for Live updates on Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th.  Schedule will be posted on the our Facebook Page.

You have both days of the weekend to complete the bike and run. Both legs must be completed by Sunday, June 7th, 11:59 PM PST. You are welcome to break events up! Just make sure we get a screenshot or photo of each completed segment once you are all done. The end goal here is to have fun and stay motivated, so do it however makes sense for you!

You can participate indoors or outdoors. Want to ride on a trainer? Yes, you can! Want to ride outside, but run on a treadmill? Yes, you can. As long as you RECORD your results. Recording your time and distance is required for both disciplines. Use Garmin, Wahoo or any other app or electronic device that will allow you to post a screenshot on the Facebook Page.

How to race virtually with Playtri:

1.Sign up at https://www.playtri.com/race-calendar/
2.Brag to all your friends on social media.
3.Have a blast completing the challenge on Saturday and Sunday.
       You can split the bike and run however you want, whenever you want, wherever you are over the weekend. Be safe. Obey all traffic laws if you’re taking the challenge outside and practice social distancing. Have fun!

4. After you have the total time of completion (bike + run), log into your RunSignUp account and submit the total time – both disciplines combined. Submitting your results on RunSignUp is required if you want to receive your finisher bumper sticker.

5. Click on ‘Finisher Certificate’ to upload your finisher certificate.

6. Post images of your watch or other media you used to record your time and distance on the Facebook page. Post your finisher certificate on social media, display it proudly! Share pictures from your journey – from you ride or run, or your kids and  dog cheering you on at the house!

7. We will mail you your finisher bumper sticker and email you your social badge.
