Event Description

Don't let the clinic name fool you.  This short clinic will have a mock race utilizing portions of the Dirt in Your Shoe Du (February) and Brick House Tri (Sept. 27th) bike and run course.

We will observe all guidelines for social distancing and USA Triathlon for putting on the mock race.  

After a brief clinic on race pacing (couple minutes) we will go over the mock race consisting of a: 2 mile run (1 lap), 8 mile bike (2 laps) and 2 mile run. 

For those wanting more of a clinic we will have coaches available to work with you on running and bike and transitions throughout the day.

This will have the bare bones of racing.  You will have a marked course and other athletes out there.

We will have restroom access.   

Super safe venue as only participants will be on the trails and driveway.  

Timing will be manually done or self-reported.  Depends on what we can do.

The land use fee is included in your registration price.

There will be a transition area, but no racks. This will encourage a little more distance between athletes.  This is similar to how Adventure races work.

There will be water available, but we highly encourage all athletes to be self-sufficient and bring your own water and nutrition.  I recommend taking a water bottle on both  runs as well as having at least one on your bike.

There are no awards, but bring some friends so you can brag who is the fastest.

Also, we will not provide any post event food.  

As of right now, we have two times you can start the course (8 & 10 AM)  Depending on the guidelines the start may be Time trial (one by one) of small groups with plenty of spacing.   If there is more interest we will open up more times.
