Welcome to Jack & Jill Children's Center First Annual Virtual Run/Walk
RUN FOR THE KIDS, June 19-21
Run for the Kids is a race where you get to choose the time and the place! Show our families, children, and community members you care by running and/or walking! It's as easy as that!
Registration Prices:
$50 Special Scholarship Fund (any distance of your choosing)- By increasing your registration to this amount, you will help provide a week of quality pre-school for a scholarship child in need. Medal included.
$30 (any distance of your choosing)- Helps fund our mission of ending poverty. Medal included.
$15 (children only, any distance)- Children helping children! Help continue to fund our mission. Medal included.
*To track your miles you can wear a fit bit or some sort of tracking device. Or, if one is not available to you, you can use www.mapmyrun.com to create and map out a route! This link will take you directly to the “Create Your Route” page: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/create/. Instead of submitting your time, we ask you to take pictures and share with us while on your run/walk journey (see last bullet below).
Why Virtual Run?
A global threat like COVID-19 affects more than just the infected. A pandemic like this touches every person on the planet, and it presents an opportunity to come together as a global community to help our most vulnerable community members. For many of us, one of life's best gifts is the ability to run. Running/walking exercises both our bodies and our minds. It heals us in ways we don't quite understand! By participating in Run for the Kids, we are coming together to create a wave of generosity as we mobilize the world through giving and getting fit at the same time!
$15,000 IS OUR GOAL! These critical funds are needed now so that we can continue mobilizing in our community, provide scholarships, and raise additional relief funds to help our parents and children who are experiencing the economic impacts related to COVID-19. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty for children of high need working families through quality early childhood education and family strengthening programs.

(your bib will be available once you sign up, under "My Profile" - "Upcoming Events"- "View Pre-Race Bib")
*YOUR REGISTRATION AUTOMATICALLY ENTERS YOU INTO A DRAWING TO RECEIVE A $25 GIFT CARD. We will draw one winner each week until race weekend, then one winner each day during the run/walk weekend June 19-21*
