Event Description

Dilbert Sports (branded DS Running Club for sponsorship reasons) is a 8-kilometer run held annually in person and virtually. This race allows amateur and professional runners to register for an chance to win a Ca$h reward for the first Female and Male finisher. This year, the race will be held in person starting at 8:00 AM from the Heritage Park in Junction City.

This race is to celebrate the Independence Day of the United States commemorating the Declaration on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subordinate to the monarch of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states.

Participants can participate in the 1 Mile walk. or 8K run.

1M Participants registration - $25

8K Participants registration - $35

8K first Male & Female finisher will receive $50.
8K top age groups for Male & Female finisher will receive a prize.
• NO Team Attendance trophy for the group with the largest number of registered participants

• Finisher medals for everyone that crosses the finish line

• Race day registration will include an additional $10 administration fee.

The first 50 race participants that register before June 25th will be guaranteed to receive a short-sleeve race shirt with their paid registration*. After this date, shirts and sizes are not guaranteed.

All race participants will receive a special finisher medal at the finish line.

NO REFUNDS due to non participation. If this race is canceled due to COVID-19, partial refunds or exchanges will be issued.

Runners who decides to run in the virtual race will receive their Bib, Finisher Medal, and T-Shirt (first 50 registers only) by mail.
