Event Description
The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library (WWPL) is proud to announce its first ever “Seize the Day Virtual 5k” on July 4th weekend. Individuals and families can run or walk- from any location at any time during the 4th of July Weekend (Friday, July 3– Sunday, July 5). All proceeds will go to the WWPL’s education fund which supports the ongoing online program series that has been available to the public since March.
REGISTRATION:
$25 || Individual || 6/16 - 7/5
$75 || Family Pricing (3-5) for parents & children || 6/16-7/5
VIRTUAL RESULTS:
1. COMPLETE YOUR EVENT, Friday July 3 - Sunday July 5
2. UPLOAD YOUR RESULTS via the RunSignUp website or text them.
3. RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL AND COMMEMORATIVE KEY CHAIN!
Participants will have the ability to upload their result, for their event directly to our RunSignUp Results page or by text message.
Instructions will emailed to participants the week before the event and will also be found on our registration page.
Overall rankings, based on time, will be displayed for all events. Age Group rankings will be available for the 5K & 10K runs. Age Groups are 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99.
Please note: Age Group awards will not be given. To qualify for a Finisher Medal a participant must report their time and/or participation using the RSU platform no later than 11:59pm, SUNDAY JULY 5TH.
HOW DO I GET MY FINISHER MEDAL AND KEY CHAIN?
Participants are encouraged to pickup their finisher medal and key chain at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum Gift Shop, Monday July 5th thru Friday July 10th during gift shop hours TBD. Items not picked up during this time will be mailed.
