Event Description

Join the Oregon Senior Games for a virtual 5K Walk/Run or 50K Bike Ride around Oregon (or wherever your reside)!

In this event, participants can run, walk, or ride any time between August 6th and August 9th (just like the Oregon Senior Games would have been), anywhere in Oregon or wherever you reside! All times are self-reported and are not part of a qualifying competition. Choose your favorite course or a new area to explore, and, if you want, track your distance and route using your favorite device or application, such as CharityMiles, MapMyWalk, Strava, etc. (not required to participate). 

This event is FREE to participate! T-shirts are available for sale for those of you who would like a souvenir. Donations are gratefully accepted, but not required. Donations and profits from shirt sales will benefit the 2021 Oregon Senior Games and the Corvallis Parks and Recreation Family Assistance Fund which gives low income families and individuals access to programs such as swimming lessons, sports programs, day camps, outdoor environmental education classes, therapy classes and more! 

Open Course - Run/ride wherever you like. 

Complete the virtual race any time (at once or in segments) between August 6th and August 9th. 

If you want to compete for most miles covered over the time frame for either the bike or the foot race, please keep track of your own miles and submit your results when you have completed all the miles you want to, at the latest on August 9th. The race website will only allow you to submit one result for each event (50K bike and 5K run/walk).

Swag & Awards: Oregon Senior Games Virtual Race t-shirts are available for purchase during registration. Plus, additional recognition, bragging rights, and swag for the following categories (a person may only win one award). 

• 5K walk / run / roll, recognition for fastest time*
• 50K bike ride, recognition for fastest time*
• Recognition for most miles biked/run 
• Biggest donation

*All times must be reported by 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 9th to the RunSignUp race page. Fastest times will be broken down into age groups of under 18, 19-49, and 50+.
