Event Description

Purpose:

In honor of World Breastfeeding Week — and to bring awareness to maternal mental health — Enloe Medical Center is hosting our first Virtual Mothers Stroll.

Join us and our community partners to show your support for moms affected by perinatal mood and anxiety disorder, also known as postpartum depression by being active! Walking, running, bike riding, and other forms of exercise are good for families, both physically and emotionally.

Be sure to invite Dad, the kids and other loved ones to join in on the virtual fun!

30 Minutes to Win!

Enloe's Virtual Mother's Stroll is free and focuses on being active for 30 minutes, with no distance or single activity requirements. What does that mean? It means you do  a physical activity of your choice for 30 minutes or more. You can go for a walk, run or bicycle ride.

Rules:

  1. Register and do 30 minutes of physical activity before August 8, 11:59 p.m.
  2. Log your activity using your favorite app.
  3. Take a selfie and share it on Facebook to receive a prize! Don't forget to tag Enloe Medical Center and use the #MothersStroll2020

Enloe Medical Center Neck Gaiter

These include Enloe’s Mother & Baby Education Center, Enloe Women's Services, Mothers Strong, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), North Valley Indian Health, Butte County Public Health, and more! Packets will be mailed after the event's end date (Aug. 8) and are limited to people living in Northern California.
