What better way to end these HOT summer days than with a Popsicle 5K?!!
Come join us for a 5k and finish with nice cold popsicles by the Eagle Theater in downtown Sugar Hill! Come on out and join us as we enjoy the newly renovated downtown Sugar Hill! You will have a great run and great atmosphere to kick off the weekend!

We'll have an awesome Start and Finish in front of the Eagle Theater then do an out & back to PIB, and then head South.
We’ll capture your start and finish times, and all results will be awarded based on your net chip time.

We have awards as follows:
- Top 3 overall M/F
- Top 3 overall Masters M/F
- Top 3 overall Grand Masters M/F
- Top 3 overall Sr. Grand Masters M/F
- Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups 10 & Under through 75+.
Everyone will get a race shirt guaranteed in their size until 8/16 and a popsicle at the Finish!
Virtual Race Options
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate and have a shot at an award?
Then the virtual race is for you.
Here's how it works.
- Register for the Virtual division & start Training
- You'll receive event emails with a link to submit your race time
- Submit your race time by end of Sunday
- The Monday after the race, results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
- Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
- Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail.

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See event website for details.
Top finishers will also qualify for entry into the Five Star 5K/10K Championships to be held on January 2021.
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final...there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. We understand restrictions and guidelines are changing due to COVID-19, but due to pre-planning & cost on our end, we are not able to provide refunds. Thank you.
