Event Description

Honor the memory of a loved one while riding to support Hospice of the North Country!

Registration is now open for the 50-Mile Hospice of the North Country Ride to Remember Bike Ride Challenge. Register your ride and complete it anytime in the month of September at your own pace. You can do all 50 miles at once, or do only a few miles at a time--its up to you!  All you need is a bike and a route. You choose the route and create the challenge to ride 50 miles in September.  You can choose to:

  • Ride Your Favorite Bike Path
  • Ride Your Neighborhood
  • Ride at Home
  • Ride the Mountains

It’s an opportunity for participants to get out and ride their bikes for up to 50 Miles during the month of September to support our Mission of helping people of the North Country die in spiritual, mental, and physical comfort.  Participants can register at https://www.adirondackcoastevents.com/

We also encourage riders to rally support by setting up Facebook Fundraisers for your Ride to Remember.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Ride to Remember is a virtual bike ride in which participants can participate anywhere around the globe. Individuals are encouraged to get out and ride their bikes for up to two hours in an area where they can practice social distancing. Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines continue to recommend a minimum of six feet of social distancing in an effort to stem the pandemic. It is CRITICAL to note that Ride to Remember is NOT a group ride and riding clusters are PROHIBITED due to the coronavirus. We encourage people to ride around anywhere of your choosing—around your neighborhood, on the shores of Lake Champlain or through the beautiful Adirondacks. Each rider will receive an event t-shirt.
