Join us for the Run for Responders 5K at Oconee Veterans Park in Watkinsville GA.

Our Mission: We at Grier & Co. strive to give back to the community that keeps us in business! Our local firemen, law enforcement officers, and first responders sacrifice so much to protect and serve all of us here in Oconee County. This will be our 4th annual First Responder event and due to the past success, we have had in prior years, we have set a goal of $7,500 this year to give back to our local heroes. 

Virtual Option: Due to COVID-19 we are offering a Virtual Option this year. Entry Fee is $30.00, with a shirt but no award. Times will be entered at the end of your respective age group for BBRS points. Run anywhere and submit your time to THIS LINK no later than 5:00pm on Oct 4

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 12:30PM

5K: Starts at 2PM

Awards: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female and 3 deep in 10 year age groups for in person participants.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/15/20.  Those registering late or on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is on the 2020 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
