October 10, 2020 is World Mental Health Day AND Still I Run's fourth birthday! To bring more awareness to mental health issues and celebrate our birthday, we're hosting a virtual race weekend. Join Team Still I Run, no matter where in the U.S. you are, and we'll raise mental health awareness and run against the stigma together!
Register for the 5k or half marathon distance, print your bib, and complete your miles the weekend of October 9-11. It's a kid-friendly event, so encourage the whole family to join you! Your registration also enters you into a drawing where you'll have the chance to win one of our awesome swag bags with a variety of goodies in them. You'll earn one raffle ticket with your registration but you can donate or fundraise for more tickets, which increases your chance to win! Each $5 donation to Still I Run will earn you another raffle ticket (ex. Register yourself + $10 SIR donation = 3 raffle tickets)!
While we won't be running the same streets since this is a virtual event, we can show the impact the Still I Run community has in a few ways. The first way is to upload a race photo of yourself with #SIRVirtual2020. We want social media to LIGHT up with your smiling face. The other way is by submitting your miles once you've finished your race. We'll then tally all the miles we've run for mental health and Herman Miller Cares will donate $1 per mile to Still I Run!!
