Different Walk. Same Reasons.

This year, our annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is going to look a little different.
It's going to feel a little different. It's going to sound a little different. 

We won't be meeting at the Trellis in downtown Frederick. There won't be bands playing or elected officials speaking.
You won't be joining hundreds of others in walking the route down Market Street. 

Instead, Walk a Mile will look like you walking in your neighborhood, challenging your co-workers to log miles on lunch breaks,
and inviting friends in other time zones to join your team to walk a mile for us.
This year, Walk a Mile is anywhere and everywhere. 

And like every year before, Walk a Mile is still about supporting victims and survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, child abuse, and human trafficking, by supporting the work we do every day at Heartly House.
