Event Description

     The Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida is challenging YOU to join the POWer in Pink – 26.2 Virtual Month-Long Marathon Challenge presented by the Watson Clinic Foundation! Together we can help breast cancer patients pack a POWerful PUNCH to situational poverty, stemming from a breast cancer diagnosis! 

     Run/walk, bike, swim, or skate/rollerblade to complete the marathon; you choose HOW and WHERE you want to do the miles—just log and keep track of your miles! Complete the challenge indoor, outdoor, in your neighborhood or in your backyard and remember to follow the latest CDC local and state guidelines regarding Covid-19. Miles must be completed October 1-31, 2020. 

     All registered participants will receive event specific swag; including an official POWer in Pink T-shirt, downloadable print-at-home bib and log sheet, participant medal AND a $5 off $50 or $10 off $100 coupon to redeem at ANY FITniche Running Store location (Lakeland, Brandon, or Flatwoods) valid for three weeks after the date of packet pick up. PLUS, there will be opportunities to win prize packages and giveaways from local sponsors!

     $30 Pre-Registration starts August 21, 2020 and ends September 30, 2020. Month of registration is $35 and ends October 16, 2020. Once you have registered and start your challenge, make sure to keep it going by sharing our video and inviting others to join!

     We encourage you to share your experience in a short video, a map of your workout, or a selfie on your social media pages or the POWer in Pink – 26.2 Virtual Marathon Challenge Facebook Group Page and include the following hashtags: #BCFCFPowerInPink and #BCFCF262Challenge.
