5K mail in/drop off cost: $20
Both increase to $25 after Sept. 18.
Kids Fun Run (KFR)
KFR online register cost: $7.50
KFR mail in/drop off cost: $5
Increases to $10 after Sept. 18.
Cash and check are welcome forms of payment. Donations are also welcome in the form of cash or check. Please make checks out to Laurel Lake Baptist Camp. All proceeds go to LLBC.
Online registration will be open until October 2nd, 11:59 pm. Paper registration can be printed off in Run Sign Up from Event Info + Registration Details or you can go to http://newsalemlondon.org where you will see links for a paper registration form and a sponsor form. Registration can also be picked up from New Salem Baptist Church. Registration can be mailed in to New Salem Baptist Church. The mailing address is PO Box 123, Pittsburgh, KY 40755. You can also drop off your application to New Salem Baptist Church from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Sunday and 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Race day registration will take place from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. You must check in when you arrive even if you have already registered. If you have not registered then you must register and pay the day of the race when you arrive.
The races will take place on the campus of Laurel Lake Baptist Camp in Corbin, KY. The address is 578 Singing Hills Road, Corbin, KY 40701. The races will be held on Saturday morning, October 3rd, beginning at 8:30 am. One 5K race will be a trail run through some defined paths in the woods around the camp. Runners only for the trail run. The other 5K race will be a road course across the gravel and paved areas of the camp. Runners and walkers are welcome for the road course. The KFR is a 1/2 mile run for kids 10 & under.
There will be concessions and live music. Participants who register by September 18th will be guaranteed a t-shirt and gift bag. Those who register afterwards may still receive prizes if supplies allow. Top finishers in certain categories will receive an award.
