The Kindness Matters Walk is going virtual for 2020!
Due to the continuation of COVID-19 across the United States, the KM Legacy Foundation has made the decision to move the 2020 KM Walk to a completely virtual format. We value the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors above all else, and know holding the KM Walk virtually is the best decision to make.
How does the virtual walk work?
Starting on 11/13/20 through 11/26/20, you can run, walk, roller-blade, kayak, or even push a stroller on your own 5K. It’s your choice! We will be streaming a live event complete with giveaways, contests, speakers, and more on 11/26/20 at 8:00 am PST. Post pictures of you/your group as you do your activity, and post to Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag "#KMWalk2020" - we would love to see you!
Registration is simple - just click the "Sign Up" button to start your registration process. Register yourself or others in your family/group - and please create or join an existing team if you'd like. Registration is $10 per person. Each participant will have the option during the registration process to select an "add-on" - to include a walk shirt and goody bag for $35 per participant (this is optional, but you'll want to make sure you get a 2020 KM Walk shirt and goody bag which includes among other things a 2020 KM Walk bracelet!). The add-on option will only be available until 11/1/20.
You also have the option to make a donation directly to the KM Legacy Fund at the Orange County Community Foundation. Another great way to support the KM Legacy Foundation! (this is optional)
You will see our event sponsors on the screens during registration. Please help support these companies/groups as they have so generously supported the KM Legacy Foundation. Thank you sponsors!
Proceeds from the KM Walk support brain tumor research at a national level, and student leadership development opportunities locally in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District.
