Event Description
We are excited to inform you that Open Hands Health Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been providing free Christ-centered healthcare since March of 2015, to the underserved of Okeechobee County. We have provided free services such as vaccinations, smoking cessation classes, dental services, diabetic classes, free appointments with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, mammograms, wellness program, Biblical counseling and free medications. This 5K Run/Walk is the single largest fundraiser for Open Hands Health Center. We rely on donations to keep this ministry functioning.
