Event Description
Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency’s (ACSS) virtual I Move with Purpose! 5K run/walk raises money to aid Metro Atlanta’s most vulnerable populations, including those impacted by COVID-19, with connecting or reconnecting to the area’s workforce via ACSS's CareerWorks Workforce Development & Training Program. This very important event aligns with the organization's mission to empower financially vulnerable individuals in our community to become self-sufficient, sustainably-employed contributors to society.
Participants will design and run their own 5K routes, completing their 5K anytime between 10/17/20 –10/25/20. Each race participant will also track individual results using their preferred run app. Once complete, in addition to uploading results on RunSignup, runners and walkers are asked to post a photo of themselves or their team along with a screenshot of race results on the ACSS Facebook page with the below hashtags.

Each participant will receive a medal of participation through the mail. Note: Runners and walkers must upload their results to the RunSignup platform in order to receive their medal.
