Welcome to Mick's Mad Mystery Hunt
We are Celebrating our 40th year
Serving South East Idaho
Covid-19 it kinda put a damper on the things we were planning for our celebration but we still wanted to do something super fun! 🎉
We must be a little MAD to try to pull together a MYSTERY scavenger HUNT event for you all in just under 2 weeks BUT WERE GOING TO DO IT!!
Were so excited to host this 24 hour scavenger hunt 😃 and at the same time help out by donating 100% of the profits back to the American Legion - Shelley Branch
You will need a Team or 4-6 people, You will get a list of places to go and challenges to do all worth points. You don’t have to finish everything but
Your team will have 24 hours get as many points as you can.
REMEMBER the Team with the most points wins!!
How this will all work:
• Anyone and everyone can play (in teams of 4-6 people) at a cost of $20/person (a reduced rate is not offered for small children)
• You will need to pre-register your team here
cost includes event shirt and Team packets. Event will happen whether rain 🌧 or shine ☀️ no refunds will be given.
• Packet pick up
Your entire team must be together
Friday Sept 18th between 4 and 7pm
At Micks Home Cooking
398 South State Street in Shelley once you have your packet, we will take a team picture and you can then BEGIN!
• Packets will have your lists of locations to go and challenges to do all earning different amount of points. Not all challenges have to be complete, You can Pick and choose what you want to do BUT REMEMBER the team with the MOST POINTS Wins 😃
• A vehicle is suggested for this event but not mandatory. It MUST have working seatbelts for All Team members and driver MUST be over 18! (This person does NOT have to be a team member, and will not be allowed to participate if they are not) And yes! They can also be your camera 📷 person😉
• Teams must arrive back to the ending check point by Saturday at 6pm, those who are late are disqualified (no exceptions!!!)
• Teams must keep track of what they have accomplished by proof of pictures and/or Videos on their phones or other devices and by posting on Social Media
• Every team member must be in the picture to qualify for points
• Event T-shirt that MUST be worn or shown in the picture
• If you and your team members are under 18 and you DO NOT HAVE an adult chaperone (someone over 18) you will have a curfew from 11:30pm - 5am. Where you have to be at home. If you break this curfew you will be disqualified. (There will be challenges that you can do indoors though)
• We will have a blackout period from 11:30pm to 5am. You can still complete challenges if you want to, but if you post any pictures on social Medial you will receive a penalty
• at the Ending location (you will find out where that is in your packet) final event will be a Potato Hunt (like an Easter egg hunt) The potatoes 🥔 will be numbered and those numbers will be added to your final score. A CHANCE FOR MORE POINT 🥳
• Teams MUST abide by all laws, speed limits, road signs, park rules, city regulations, and social distancing guidelines in place for the areas they are in.
but wait... did I tell you?
• You can Make up a Creative Team Name for 100 points
• Create a Team Costume for another 400 points
That’s right 500 points before you even begin challenges!!! 🎉WootWoot 🎉
WAIT... it gets Better!!
Team costumes will be judged at the packet pick up and the very best TEAM costume and receive a bonus 500 POINTS!!! 🤩🥳
Yep!! Your team could be 1000 points ahead just by having a fun name and awesome costumes 🎉
