Event Description
Run a race on hallowed ground - part of a retreat route by colonial militia during the battle of Crooked Billet on May 1, 1778. Race supports the education programs provided by historic Craven Hall and the John Fitch Steamboat Museum for local school students and adults. A T shirt is provided to all runners and walkers while they last.
Event details and schedule
Crooked Billet 5K Race and Health Walk is laid out over a paved trail that circles Warminster Community Park. Registration begins at 8:30AM in the park pavilion located just off the Veterans Lane parking area. Race begins promptly at 9:30AM. Prizes given for top three male and female runners along with 7 age catagories - male & female. Fruit and water provided. -also a water station at the 1/2 way point.
