A Friends of the Phoenix Fundraiser supporting special education teachers at title 1 schools in Houston, Texas. Set a personal goal and challenge yourself to reach that goal over 45 days. Walk. Run. Bike. Swim. It is up to you!

How far will you go for education? 

The Friends of the Phoenix will award up to $500 grants to local special education teachers so they can provide a beneficial learning environment for their students. Many special education students need different materials or equipment, which can be challenging to provide due to COVID-19 restrictions. 100% of net proceeds from the Midsemester Miles Challenge will fund grants for teachers.

Entry into the Midsemester Miles Challenge includes t-shirt, medal, digital race bib, and access to exclusive virtual activities. T-shirts, medals, and optional add-ons will be shipped to U.S. addresses free of charge the first week of December 2020.
