Event Description

Spinistry's Hell of the North Texas is once again running in conjunction with Tour de Paris weekend in Paris, TX!

Current format for 9/27 Hell of the North Texas out of Paris, TX:

50 mile competitive time trial on marked course
66 mile fun ride self navigated (includes free access to navigation via Ride With GPS app if needed)
100 mile race self navigated (includes free access to navigation via Ride With GPS app if needed)

We are also including a ROYOS (Ride on your own schedule) option for Club Spinistry members unable to make the official event date. Please do not sign up for that option if you plan to ride on Sunday, 9/27 during the official event. It is intended for other dates between 9/18 and 10/31. ROYOS riders are able to record their formal times on a Ride With GPS Leaderboard for whichever distances they choose. This option includes free access to the Ride With GPS navigation app for these routes if needed.

We are accepting donations for cash payouts in the Time Trial division. Donations will go to the prize pool for the time trial participants. We are kicking in the first $100 ourselves. Fastest time will secure the first $100 donated (ours). All donations will be dispersed in increments of $100 to each of the next fastest times in order until the donations balance dips below $100. Please note, that we reserve the right to alter the dispersement schedule to incorporate a gender break if appropriate based on participation numbers. The SLOWEST completed time within the cutoff time (TBD) will receive the sub $100 balance.

Spots will be EXTREMELY limited for proper safety and social distancing purposes. We don't want the biggest crowd possible, quite the opposite.

Signup will only be available for Club Spinistry members until sold out or 9/19, whichever comes first. Remaining slots (if any) will open to the general public on 9/19. $10 for Club Spinistry members, $45 for general public. Realistically, our expectation is that club members will lock down all of the spots but there is no way to know that for certain.

Saturday night on site camping available for Club Spinistry members. This will be a rain or shine event but the course may need to be modified if there are heavy rains in the days prior. Because of virus concerns do not plan for aid stations at this time. There are stores along/near the route but our suggestion is to plan to carry all that you need for the distance you select.
