Event Description

In memory of Richard McGuire and Katie Nelson. Richard was a 4th year dental student who tragically lost his battle to Sickle Cell Anemia in August of 2019. Katie Nelson was a third year dental student who tragically lost her battle to Leukemia in April of 2020.  

September is both Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness month and Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness month.
