Event Description

Davidson College's Connor House is hosting its 2nd annual Think Pink 5k! Connor House works closely with Earlier.org - Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test to help fund research working towards finding a biological earlier detection test for breast cancer. While we are unable to gather as one large group due to COVID-19, we hope you will all join us virtually to fight for an earlier detection! 

This year we are offering a variety of virtual options for our participants. Participants will complete their race at any time during the week of October 11th-18th. First, you can run ANYWHERE - meaning you can run not only on your own time but wherever you are located. Second, we invite runners in the area to RUN OUR COURSE - meaning that you can run a set course in the town of Davidson that can be found through downloading the app RaceJoy. While we suggest running or walking a 5k, we encourage participants to SET A PERSONAL GOAL - meaning participants may run a distance of their choice and also choose an exercise of their choice (running, walking, biking, swimming, kayaking, you name it!). 

All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher certificate in the mail.
