Event Description

Join the Blue Sky Endurance Masked Bandits for our unsanctioned, 10 mile Corona Classic benefiting the Charleston Youth Development Center, CYDC.  Your donation will go to fund 2 graduating seniors from CYDC pursuing their college degrees in 2021. 

This race is restricted to Blue Sky Endurance Masked Bandits training programs participants and Without Limits Charleston coached runners.  If you are not currently part of the Blue Sky Endurance training program, we ask that you make a minimum donation of $25 to participate in the 10 miler.  

The 10 mile run course consists of an out an back from Blue Sky Endurance to Stella Maris Church on Sullivan's Island.  The course will not be closed to traffic, so runners will be running on streets and sidewalks and at their own risk.  Closed water bottles will be provided at the turnaround point, or you can leave a clearly marked drop bag prior to the race start and we will transport it to the turnaround point for you. 

Due to Covid concerns, masks are mandatory before and after the 10 mile race.  

Runners will be staggered to start the race based on their predicted finish times submitted or calculated beforehand by their respective coaches.  Your start time will be communicated to you prior to race day.  

All runners will receive a commemorative Corona Classic 10 Miler towel (your most important piece of equipment, according to Coach Ray).  

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

Closest predicted finish time - Male and Female

Fastest age graded finish time - Male and Female

Best Costume - Male and Female

Fastest Age Grouper for teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s - Male and Female
