Join us from October 1 - October 31, 2020 for the RMC Pink Ribbon Virtual 5K & Beyond!

Taking Strides and Going the Extra Mile Against Breast Cancer

Benefiting the RMC Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Fund

This year’s event is going VIRTUAL, and we hope you will accept the challenge of going BEYOND a 5K and see how many miles you can go throughout the month of October. Some of the benefits of being in a virtual event include flexibility to participate anytime of day, at a location of your choice or even using a treadmill; and you can even invite your out of town/state friends and relatives to support the cause along with you!

Registration Options: Sign up as an Individual or as a Team* (5 min. /10 max). Registration will remain open until October 31, 2020. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and custom 5K face mask; these will be shipped directly to you after the event ends on October 31. Shirt sizes  and masks will be available on a first come first serve basis however, shirts and masks are not guaranteed for those registering after October 15, 2020.

Individuals                                 $30 thru 9/30, $35 thru 10/31               

Teams                                       $25 per person thru 9/31, $30 per person 10/1-10/31/20

                                                  (Five person minimum/Ten person maximum)             

RMC Employees                       $20 (must contact RMC Foundation office for discount code)

Mileage Challenge

  Whether you do it for fun or have a competitive streak, we want to see how many miles you can go during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Once you are registered, you will return to the event website every Saturday in October to log your distance for that week. This is where we got creative… You have the option to complete this challenge by Walking, Running, Cycling or using a combination of the three. You are even welcome to register your canine companions and log their distance as well! Remember, this is a fun competition and we are relying on honesty and integrity to determine prizewinners; only the distance of registered participants can be logged. 

Award Categories for This Year’s Event: Winners will receive FREE registration for our 2021 5K event, a custom Pink Ribbon 5K hat and a $10 gift card to either Chick-fil-A, Sonic or Starbucks.

*Team members will log their own distances each week, the system will automatically combine the overall totals.

**Combo participants will select a single activity at time of registration. You will be able to select and enter your distance for the different categories during weekly logins. Having entries in multiple categories will automatically put you into the Combo category.

***Combination teams can consist of participants each choosing a different activity method, or, all or some team members doing a combination of the three.
