Event Description

This event is the 4th Annual Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 5K. The purpose of this year’s 5K is to promote Women's Health and Wellness while supporting the Hannah Center. Which is a local nonprofit which aids and advocates for women of all kinds who need help but cannot afford it. They especially help with women who are mothers or becoming mothers who don’t exactly have guidance and need help.They also help women get clothes for them and their babies if they are having trouble.This aligns with Alpha Kappa Alpha’s initiative Women Health and Wellness by donating to a non profit solely based on strengthening women.
