Welcome to The Moon and Back Run for our KIDS virtual Challenge.
Challenge inspirations
* All Kids - keeping them safe! While many are safe in their homes there are too many that are lost. They are in a world where others control them, limit them, and treat them as a thing. It is my believe we can and have to stop this, one by one bring our kids home, and stop other kids from having to go thru this. A portion of our proceeds will be donated Operation Underground Railroad. OUR's main focus is rescuing kids - bringing them home and provide aftercare for the survivors.

* My Love of running. My parents introduced me to running way back, and on and off I did it for fun. About 10 years ago now, after conquering bone cancer in my right leg, I recommitted. Now it is part of my life - it gives me a barometer to measure my health but also offers me that "Me time" we all should have.
* Our kids, in our home - each night - our bedtime saying is: "I love you to the moon and back".
"Everyday the heart creates enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles. In your lifetime that is like driving a truck to the moon and back. So when you tell someone you love them to the moon and back, it is essentially saying to them with all the blood your heart pumps your WHOLE life, which I think is an equally meaningful" The Minds journal.

* Sunday, Sept 27th thru Oct 31st Halloween
* Pick your goal of miles over the 5 weeks
* Join the challenge with a team, solo, with your favorite 4 legged friends
* BEST PART - DO YOUR JAM - Run, Walk, Ride or hit the Treadmill - however you like to get your miles in!

* $27 - all entries must join by Oct 17th (allowing for late entries)
* NOTE Shirts and gift baskets will be available at end of the race! Just like in a live race!!!
