Event Description

For over a decade, Watkinson School has started our academic year with the Ram Run, a community-based run on campus.  Although we won't be able to hold that event this year, we have created something that might be even better.  We'd like to invite all of you to participate in our Virtual Watkinson Ram Run for Social Justice!  This event will be a great opportunity to share in our community and enjoy some exercise.  This is not a fundraiser for the school, as the registration fee only covers the administrative fees for the event, as well as a participant t-shirt.  Beyond that, we are hoping that you will join us in making a donation to The Hartford Community Loan Fund in order to support the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community and community-at-large of greater Hartford.  

On the weekend of October 2nd - October 4th, you can walk or run your distance of choice (5k - 3.1 miles or 10k - 6.2 miles) anywhere in the world at any point throughout the weekend.  After that, you can upload your time, and we'd love to see your race day photos and videos through email or social media!
