Join us virtually this year and trot in your own neighborhood, on your own schedule and support Ballard Food Bank!

Registration includes a shirt, race bib and sticker, all mailed to your house before Thanksgiving. Run or walk on Thanksgiving wearing your swag and send us a picture or tag us on social media #SeattleTurkeyTrot

Not into swag but still want to support? We are offering a bib only option at a lower price point. 

Sign up before November 13th to guarantee your packet arrives in time. 

About the Trot: The Seattle Turkey Trot was created in 2007 by 3 Seattle Ballardites who wanted to run on Thanksgiving morning in an attempt to counteract the large quantities of food that would be consumed later in the day. 
 
A scenic course was chosen, friends and family were invited to join, and 30 people showed up to run that inaugural year.

The next year, 200 people showed up, and the extra money raised was donated to the Ballard Food Bank. 

Your generous donations are also appreciated, and go to help those who need a little extra to keep their families healthy and happy.

Since then the Ballard Food Bank has been instrumental in organizing and handling the yearly run, and all proceeds raised go directly to the Food Bank to help them provide food for those in need in the Seattle area.
