Event Description

Insomnia Trail Race is a night time running event that starts at Beals Point and follows the fire-roads out towards Granite Bay to then come back on the same path. The levee is wide enough to maintain runners 6ft apart from each other even when running on opposite directions. 

You can also sign up to complete this race virtually, get your family together and hit the trails at night!! - Know that if you sign up for the virtual option, you can complete this anywhere! 

Due to severe restrictions we are not able to host the 35k this year, but the 14k and 5k are a go so far. Please be aware that our permits are still pending and will be pending until the week of the event. We are working closely with the local authorities to conduct a safe and fun event for everyone. 

Overview of the event:

Runners are encouraged to pre-register. Same day registration will be available but you must have your own smart phone to complete the registration. We will not have a communal registration kiosk due to strict restrictions and the safety of everyone. On race day please visit the same day registration kiosk only to pick up your bib after you have completed the registration. Pre-registered runners will be able to pick up their bib at the main tent.
