Event Description

It's time for Vineyard City's 3rd Annual Blizzard 5K! With Dairy Queen as a race sponsor, each participant is to receive a voucher for a FREE Dairy Queen Blizzard! This is a very flat course that could result in a new 5K personal record time for you!

We want this to be a family-friendly race and therefore have a family discount for those interested in registering with 2 or more additional family members living within the same household. A Kids 1K run/walk is to take place following the 5K. Also, strollers are allowed in the 5K and Kids 1K run/walk.

In the case that COVID-19 regulations limit the gathering of groups of people to no more than 20 persons, we are prepared! There is to be up to 20 people starting this race at a time. A new group of 20 persons is to start the race about every 5 minutes. Since this is a chip-timed race, your race time wont begin until you cross the start line! Then, we will have a separate start and finish line to help reduce the chance of gathering in large groups. We will send you your scheduled race start time the weekend before race-day. Your race is to be scheduled between 8:30am-9:30am.

The top 3 male and female finishers in each age division are to win a medal. These are to be mailed to you on Monday, November 9th. Raffle giftcards are also to be mailed out on Monday, November 9th to those whose names are drawn.
