Event Description

The 2020 Harmony Silvester 5K is going virtual this year. Silvester is the German name for New Year's Eve – owing to the fourth century Pope Sylvester I. Eventually made a saint by the Catholic Church, his feast day is observed on December 31st. We wanted to continue our tradition of giving you a reason to run your last race of the year (and what a year it has been!). While we won’t be there, we‘ll do our best to continue to make this race special by providing a start and finish line, lining the course with signs to inspire you and a place where you can take your photo with Father Time if you would like to run the traditional course. Or you can run your own course, at a time that is convenient for you. All runners will receive a special race medal!
