Event Description

Join us for a virtual 5k walk or run event, thru November! This year, all profits and donations (minus standard processing fee's & T's), will go directly to Morgan Holderman, as she continues her fight with breast cancer.

Each October, breast cancer awareness rolls around. Coincidently, at the age of 35, this mother of two, found a lump in her breast, in October of 2019. After the positive biopsy, the doctor told her, "in 6-weeks this will all be over." The six weeks turned into 6-months, which then turned into the entire year. It wasn't just a lump that required removal, after further testing leading to surgery, the fast spreading cancer filled her breast and continued into her lymph nodes. 

Through this long, stressful process, Morgan has remained upbeat and positive. Due to her job as an ICU RN and COVID rearing its ugly head at the same time, Morgan and her team (RN manager, family, & Dr.'s), decided continuous leave would be best. Since she is an avid fitness guru, it only makes sense to hold a 5K in her honor to help with expenses as she continues to move through each treatment.
