Event Description

We're back for another virtual challenge! This time you have to log whether your elevation was acquired outdoors or indoors. We will have separate divisions. Other than that, the format will be the same. From June 15-29, join The Run Mauka Challenge and collect the most vertical feet. Challenge yourself to climb that hill in your neighborhood, that trail in your town, that staircase in your building, or even a treadmill on incline. Even if you are a seasoned hill climber, have fun challenging yourself! Remember to always stay safe, run with a buddy when possible, stay within your ability, and observe all local COVID-19 laws and protocols.

Log your activities daily on the results page. Post photos of your daily progress or favorite hills to our Facebook group "Run Mauka Challenge" or tag us on Instagram @runmauka  ... we want to see them!

Mauka is Hawaiian for "towards the hills". That's where you'll be! See you at the summit!
