Event Description

Seniors at Falmouth High School Senior Project! 

A Fun 1 mile or 5k to start your New Year off right! We’ll give you the whole month to get your run in because we know you’re busy! (January 1st starting at 12:00 am all the way through January 31st until 11:59 pm). All proceeds of the race will be donated to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. All three of us (Maria, Liv, and Emily) have had the honor of adopting multiple pets from the ARLGP, and our lives wouldn't be the same without them!!

In order to keep all participants safe, and socially distanced, this race will be VIRTUAL!!

What am I getting myself into?

Take your pick of either a 1-mile run or 5k run (3.1 miles) to help raise money for the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in Westbrook, ME.

How much does It cost to participate?

Admission to any/both races is $6.00. Additional donations to the Refuge League are greatly appreciated but NOT expected!!

How much will I really help the Animals?

100% of proceeds will go to the ARLGP.

How to submit your results for a chance to win big:

Submit your time and distance by navigating to the "Results" icon in the top right of the website. Click the icon, look up your name, and submit your time and distance. We'll be keeping a close eye on it! Winners will win a prize provided by companies who care about animals just as much as we do!

Extra info:

- Conversion of 5k into miles: 5k = 3.1 miles.
