Event Description
Even if you stayed up late to ring in the New Year, sleep in and join us at Sandy Creek Park for the 14th Annual New Years at Noon 5K. The 5K will begin at 12:00 Noon sharp. There will be the “DAM HILL” this year!!! The course will be on paved roads throughout the park.
We will follow safe social distancing practices including starting the race in waves of 50 runners or less.

Sweatshirts: This year we are giving Sweatshirts to those who register by 12/11/20. Those who register after that date and on race day WILL NOT GET A SHIRT. yOU MUST REGISTER BY THAT DATE TO GET A SHIRT, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Run at home option: Run your 3.1 miles any day between Saturday December 26 and Friday, January 1 at 12 noon. Submit your finish time using this link: http://tiny.cc/2021NYatNTimes. Finish times submitted after January 1 at 12 noon will not be included in the results. Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards and are placed at the end of your age group for series points results. According to Atlanta Track Club rules, virtual runners will not be reported in the official results and are not eligible to count this as a PTQ event. Sweatshirts will be mailed if $8.00 postage per person is included.
Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female winners in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over.
Timing and Results: Finish line management and results will be provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series and the 2020 Clover Glove Series.
Refreshments: There will be plenty of refreshments including homemade goodies!
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
