Event Description

Water is a vital – and finite – resource for all living creatures, including all of us in Forsyth County. Creek Week helps us “connect the dots” between quality of life and the health of creeks and streams, not only as a water source, but as a source of recreation and aesthetic pleasure.

Creek Week offers recreational activities, hands-on learning experiences, dynamic guest speakers, children’s activities and many other ways to appreciate, enjoy and protect our creeks and streams.

Join us for the first “Stormwater Runoff” Virtual 5k Run/Walk during Forsyth Creek Week, March 20th through March 28th! We strongly encourage all participants to complete their 5k run/walk along one of our many local waterways in Forsyth County. The first 100 participants to submit their time will be eligible for a vintage, 2020 Forysth Creek Week T-Shirt! The available sizes are S-XL and will be first come, first served. Please note which size you prefer in your registration and we will do our best to accommodate your request. All t-shirt pick-up will be at a drive-thru location that is to be determined.
