ABOUT CHERYL:

Cheryl Baldosaro was a beloved member of Gateway Regional's faculty. She passed away in October at 52 and her absence has deeply affected the Gateway community. Cheryl was a special education teacher and spent most of her time teaching Academic Skills, working tirelessly with struggling students to help them with their classes. She was known to bring in snacks for her students and magic cookie bars for her colleagues. She also enjoyed beaming with pride when she talked about her children, Jessi and Alex, as well as her husband of 29 years, Anthony. Cheryl was almost always cold and wore layers of shirts, sweaters and turtlenecks, hence the theme of the 5k! Everyone that knew her loved her and appreciated her. Cheryl was kind, friendly and approachable, and her friends were lucky to know her.
