Event Description

Friends we hope that you will join us on Saturdy March 13, 2021, at THE MOST AMAZING outdoor, MASSIVE, and family friendly establishment in downtown Dunedin for our annual Saint Patrick's day 5K celebration with kids runs open to all ages and levels of ability, hosted At THE ALL NEW HOB BREWING Company.

Check in is race day only beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the HOB Brewing Company on the large and open back deck just of the Pinellas Trail at 941 Huntley Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698. We will size up the kids for the kids dashes which will begin right around 10:15 a.m.  Each child also gets a finisher's media in their heat of the Kid’s Dash. These runs are a HUGE hit each year with families, however, we do not keep the times for the kids as we stage them in groups by the size of each child who attends to optimize their fun and keep safety paramount.

The 5K begins at 10:30 a.m. and takes place on the entirely paved Pinellas Trail. Times will be posted on www.727CanRace.com later on race day. There are no awards or age group categories but each finisher will chose from one of the 2 awesome finisher's medals pictured in the Active even listing.

If you have not been to the HOB Brewing coming in 2021 you are in for the best treat Dunedin has to offer with this amazing outdoor two story patio, seating area, grassy play area and social zone. Your 5K walk/run will begin right at 10:30 a.m. on the completely paved Pinellas Trail. There is no 10K offered this year so get ready for this GREAT 5K!

If you were registered for the cancelled 2020 event, you can choose the discounted category, however we ask that you verify with active.com your registration information when you arrive at check in on race day with either a print our or screen shot of you 2020 Dunedin March registration from Active.com

If you would like to purchase one of the technical shirts we offer on race day please bring $5 cash to the event and pick the shirt of your choice. This is a direct donation to our teen volunteers from Finish Lines For Scholarship non profit 501c3.  

An email will go out to all registrants Friday before the race with arrival instructions and downtown parking instructions, along with any last minute details you will need to know. Your registration includes an electronically timed 5K, your awesome choice of finisher's medals, and discounted beer specials at the HOB Brewing company post race party. More details to follow but I can't describe how excited we are to share this awesome venue with you and your kids and friends. We encourage you to visit, especially if you have not been there yet, to see this great new massive asset to downtown Dunedin.

Thank you for joining us as we return to a healthier running environment and make our way through vaccine season. Please follow all guidelines for mask wearing and outdoor running in crowds. We do not require you to wear a mask during fitness while you are running however it is optional but we do ask that you maintain a polite and safe distance for your fellow runners both beside you and in front of as well as with family and friends who are welcome to join us on race day
